Thinking about starting Java course - R2GP - Jul 6, 2016 Object-oriented Java programming - course title it is a level 2. I new to coding, just learning the basics. But this course seems to have grabbed my attention, it is a level 2 course online via a university. Do you think it is worth me doing? I can obviously self learn, but I think this will help me climb the ladder of coding, In a academic sense. The course is costing around £1400, which I am willing to fork out. To highlight my points; I am wanting to do it because it will help me learn the basics much quicker. Academic path Looks good if going for jobs in Programming. Thank you for reading 👍 * - Stealth™ - Jul 6, 2016 Object-oriented programming is definitely something you'll have to learn if you're looking for a career in computer science :) * - Autocode - Jul 7, 2016 (Jul 6, 2016 11:11 PM)Stealth™ Wrote: Object-oriented programming is definitely something you'll have to learn if you're looking for a career in computer science :) Thank you :) * - Maxiim - Jul 7, 2016 Can you find course syllabus? Post it here so others can give an opinion. I would say 1,4K is a lot to pay for a single course, therefore I am wondering about its quality. * - Wulfa989 - Jul 8, 2016 R2GP is the course through a university? Because those classes can be expensive, but Java is a nice starting area into OOP. * - Echtar - Jul 8, 2016 I usually learn it online or learn from Udemy (warez disallowed) (which is ripped for free) or other site :D Well,i go very slow...but i can go far |
