I'm lv 15 with a 502 CP Whirlpool.
I literally only have zubats, pidgys, and whirlpools and psyducks..
If I get some rarer pokemon i'll be able to take every gym in my area..

Afaik I know, the type of pokemons you get depends on your area, if it's grassy, water etc.
