Is The 100 a teenage drama? - Infinity. - Jul 15, 2016
So 2-3 friends of mine have seen the show and were giving me their opinions on the show, saying that they hated it and its all a big teenage drama. Is it true?

From what I know it's a Planet of the Apes style show where 100 peeps are sent in space looking for a new habitable planet because we fucked up earth and then land on this planet with strange animals only to go through some shit and discover it's actually EARTH doo doo doo dumtz! Probably yes it is a teenage drama with a sci-fi twist that isn't even originial...

Why what does that have to do anything with "teenage"

I only watched the first season, but yes, it is very much a teenage drama. There is the typical love triangle and the girl fights, but still the show has some good drama and good story. It got me pretty hooked but I haven't gotten to watch season 2 yet

Because for reproduction purposes most of the chosen are teens with some adult supervisors if I remember well, boiling it down to teen drama mixed in very un-originally sci-fi nuclear war circumstances...
It wasn't a good show so I don't remember most off it, that should speak for itself. BUt I do recommend you wathc and judge on your one, migh turn out your guilty pleasure.

You are so wrong it's hilarious. it's actually this.
They were born in space and the earth 'blew' up and radiation is way too high for normal people. 100 prisoners get sent down to see if it's possible to survive, they think they're alone but they aren't.
OP: It start out a little teenshow ish, but the more you watch the way better it gets. trust me it's worth a watch

A bit of it is teenage drama, but the storyline is actually pretty good.
There's also other non-teenage drama, so you're good.
I've watched 2 seasons and the only gripe I have with it is that it's a bit too predictable.

First season is a more teenage drama setting. It starts to forum into an action, survival, romance in season 2 with a bit of Game of Thrones kinda action. For example SPOILER You learn there's a coalition of these different factions of grounders all following under the "Heda" aka Commander (Leader) SPOILER
Season 3 is killer though cant wait for the 4th season!!
I say its a must watch though. Definitely not a teenage drama they aint teen agers in the 2nd season.

Not really tbh; like it features teenagers - but it's got like a Battlestar Galactica/Falling Skies feel to it for most of it :)

Stick with it. First season is decent once you get into it and from there is just keeps getting better.
Looking forward to the 4th season coming out next year.
