Poke ball award - Confound - Jul 16, 2016
So I was looking at the lucky members who received the award and I noticed some interesting things.
- Some members tried really hard, and posted 130-300+ times to get the award
- Others posted 10-20 times, and were extremely lucky, or even less
- The MOST interesting thing I noticed, was one user in particular didn't even post a single time in the pokemon go section, yet still received the award.
I checked out his post activity, no posts. Then I looked at his recent posts, to see if it was a glitch, and I noticed the post that got him the award, which was at 1:51 pm EST, was in a completely different section.
Thoughts on this guys?

I got the award (latest) at about 35 HQ posts (100+ chars) in this section.
It's all about luck, in my opinion

I think the guy may have posted on a thread that got junked afterwards or maybe he deleted his posts in the section just to fuck with you.

It doesn't matter how many times you post, it matters if it's over 100 characters. Anything below that doesn't make you eligible for it. So just make HQ posts and you'll have a good chance of getting it!

I mean I don't really like these luck based awards but I am not going to complain that much since it's one I don't have to pay for. Crazy how much activity has been brought to this sub for it. I am just never lucky.

I think he deleted the post knowing you were going to look at it and spawn a thread with people going "oh hory crap we can post elsewhare too?" because he wants to be one of the only people with it.

Yeah I was already wondering a couple of hours ago why there were so many posts in here, but seeing how Omni introduced this award, that explains a lot.

Haha imagine if thats all it was. He deleted it? Doubtful. The guy was extremely inactive. He's made only a few posts in the last few days, but hey, anything is possible. Ive got quite a large amount of posts in the section with no luck..

Yea this is actually a fair enough reason, but you're right OP we post our asses off and some people get it within 10-30 posts, pretty shitty, but we'll keep trying.

I posted like 10 times and got it.. The awards only been out for a day and almost 30 people have it, doesn't seem too rare.

It's pretty funny, the reason the award was introduced was to get a lot of activity. Now there is a lot of activity but 90% of the posts are actual shitposts saying nothing just to get a chance at the award!
