Clean up the Premium Marketplace. - CheGuevara★ - Jul 23, 2016

The eBooks are getting out of control, has been since a long time.
They are flooding the Premium Marketplace with all their nonsense.
I get that many people pay for stickies for their eBooks, but even with my idea I think they still will. But I don't think you really care much about stickies.

The way the eBook works is that they are mostly a group of friends, or members of a Skype Group, vouching and what not for one and another in their threads, to make people buy their eBooks.

I don't know what keeps the victim (legit buyer) from not stating the truth about the eBook. Is it psychological? I don't know really.

But the way it looks now, it is unhealthy. It is a mess.
It really needs a clean up! And this is not only coming from myself.

So, this is where we would suggest for eBooks to be sold.

OR! All eBooks should be put in the eBook Bazaar.
Nowhere else! No eBooks should be allowed outside the eBook Bazaar!

The marketplace is flooded with these eBooks and I think we both know how it works regarding eBooks.

It's just an idea, honestly it would do so much good. It would be a change for the greater good, and I think 99% of the users would appreciate it.

Just a tip, what do you think? Is it possible?

Sincerely,
CheGuevara.

I made a similar suggestion the other day: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5342863
A lot of people have been making similar suggestions and stating something needs to change.

This has my support entirely. I know I'm fresh back to the forum so my opinion doesn't hold a lot of ground, but in my opinion the Marketplace used to be a much better place 2-3 years ago before Ebooks became rampant in Premium Sellers.

The premium section would be dead then tbh. No one comes out with new programs and such.

I'd rather have quality over quantity. I don't see the issue here, and I don't see how you can see a problem with this. But we can't all think alike!

Maybe the premium market should have a approval proces? i dont know if that whould work but it whould clean it up real good

That seems a lot of work for staff?

They don't really seem to care that much about the marketplace.
So I don't think this is something they would put effort into.

I know my idea is pretty much putting the dirt under the rug instead of completely 'removing' it, but at least it will clean up the Premium Marketplace.
Also, removing the dirt is not possible. There is money to be made, (stickies, tags) etc.

And if people wish to look for eBooks, they can simply go into the forum, and enjoy their time in there with the rest of the eBook people.

This would require too much time of mods. Either enforcing all users to post to the ebook subforum, or making a new premium users ebook subforum would be great

Yeah, perhaps they should ONLY and ONLY be sold in there if so.
And if not, add it to where I were pointing out in the picture in the OP.

I'm not sure, but one way or another something must happen.

It would be nice to restrict eBook sales to the eBook section in my opinion. The Premium Sellers and Secondary Sellers are mostly eBook sales. Having this section chuck full with the same type of product gives other sellers a disadvantage to have their sales thread in there (products that don't already have a section).

You do realize that there is an Ebook Bazaar section? O.o

You do realize that the Premium Marketplace is filled with these "awesome" eBooks for sale?

Pretty sure he's getting at making it so that Ebooks can only be sold in the Ebook Bazaar section.

So report them? I don't really see how your idea would change anything lol.

Yes! This. Why on earth couldn't this be done? It's not that hard to implant this system.
