I'm looking for something where I can make beats which is free or a cracked version, thanks.

FL Studio mate, probably your best bet for now, beginners and novice people use it, and you can make some pretty sick things with it.

Just a quick google search. If you become familiar with the program, you can make some pretty cool shit. Just do your research and stick with it

You need more than just the DAW..

you need to know how to make use of automation clips, side chaining, sampling and layering. oh and if you plan on making edm you'll have to know about modulation,osculation and wave patterns (unless you plan on using preset's and patches like a scrub.

Also doesnt help to get an mpc as they greatly help with your workflow.

If you're not too serious about it but wanna do it for fun I'd recommend the Akai Mpc mini2 since it's only $99

And as for the cracked version of fl studio just go on PirateBay. hope i helped.
