Sniping Pokemon without Soft-Ban - Hydra - Jul 25, 2016

Okay, so I just noticed that not everyone knows how to snipe/teleport for a specific pokemon without getting soft-banned so let me share the secret trick with you all.

  1. Download Nox - it comes with Pokemon Go app;

  2. Go to settings and enable root. You can also change performance/quality settings and whatever else you think you'd want to do.

  3. Get coordinates for your current location and the location you want to teleport to;

  4. CTLR+3 or open the gps spoofer in Nox before you launch Pokemon Go app. If you use a bot, teleport to the location you set it in the bot so you don't get soft-banned. If you play legit but want to snipe a pokemon, set the coordinates to where you "are". It does not have to be exact, but it shouldn't be more than a few miles. The rule of thumb is teleport to/back to your "general" location.

  5. Open the Pokemon Go app and let's begin the sniping process;

  6. Enter in new coordinates to new location, click "Geocode" and then "OK" on the bottom. - DO NOT CLICK ON ANYTHING IN THE NEW LOCATION;

  7. Click the pokemon you want to snipe after teleporting to the new location (assume Snorlax) BUT DO NOT CATCH IT JUST YET;

  8. Let me clarify. You click on the pokemon, it will go to the catching screen where you can throw your pokeball. Once it goes to that screen, do not throw or click anything just yet.

  9. Go to the gps spoofer and enter in original coordinates where you were previously at, click "Geocode", then "OK" on the bottom;

  10. Now you may catch the pokemon however you'd like without getting soft-banned.

  • If you forget to teleport back, you WILL get soft-banned.

  • If you click on any gym, pokestop, etc. you MOST LIKELY (cbf to try it out) will get soft-banned.

  • If you do get soft-banned, don't blame me. I've been doing this ever since people figured it out and it works flawlessly for me. You can teleport anywhere, just make sure to teleport back once you click on the pokemon.

  • If you do get soft-banned, you'll have to wait 2-12 hours depending on travel distance. Teleporting from California to Florida will be a shorter wait compared to teleporting from Texas to Italy.

  • Unconfirmed "info" is that if you keep checking the account to see if you're soft-banned, it'll take longer. Make sure you check every 2-3 hours and not every 30 minutes.

Awesome trick dude! Does evolving pokemons cancel out soft bans?

* - Delta - Jul 25, 2016

Wow thanks for this sick tutorial.

* - funtela - Jul 25, 2016

Damn this is a great tutorial I didn't know you can do that! What do you use to search for Pokemon though? I've never "sniped" before lol x)

* - Frankey - Jul 25, 2016

Nice tutorial. Learned a few new things. I hope I won't get softbanned because that would be bad :( Let's try it!

* - NodNod - Jul 25, 2016

^ Pokevision is what I use. However, you might be better off with your own since PV goes down somewhat too often.

Just to bump and verify. Tried and tested. Works 100%. Only tried once but it worked. Went from Santa Monica pier to the uk clicked on a Porygon went back to Santa monica pier captured it and wasn't soft banned. Nice method op.

* - Stashyy - Jul 25, 2016

I did this a few times before you made the thread.
I thought all people knew about this.

* - Vegeta - Jul 25, 2016

Gonna have to try this, always get bummed out when I see a thread with a good ass pokemon that I can't get because it's halfway across the US or over the ocean. Thanks OP!

* - Mr. Robot - Jul 25, 2016

Is that just because it registers the pokemons caught location?

* - Pooh Shiesty - Jul 25, 2016

Does this only work on nox? or can i do the same thing on bluestacks?

* - Hern - Jul 25, 2016

Man just got soft banned I am an idiot. Did not entirely understand the steps until after I messed up.

TL;DR

Once you are in the pokemon battle screen with your pokeballs able to be thrown out you change gps back to home.
Will try it again tomorrow haha
