Paypal's stance on virtual items - Moisty Rag - Jul 28, 2016 Just bought osrs gold offsite from 2 different people via PP and they both scammed lol, it was like $20. I think I should chargeback but i heard they implemented some kind of new protection against virtual goods Edit: Also it was sent as friends and family if that even matters * - Jenicke - Jul 28, 2016 Seller is not covered by selling virtual goods and you could get the money back, however you're not protected for sending as Friends&Family. * - Moisty Rag - Jul 28, 2016 (Jul 28, 2016 03:20 PM)Jenicke Wrote: Seller is not covered by selling virtual goods and you could get the money back, however you're not protected for sending as Friends&Family. So what are the chances of me recieving it back :/ * - SIM-82498 - Jul 28, 2016 The seller is not protected if they sell virtual goods, however, the buyer has to provide some sufficient evidence that the in-game item was not received. The seller also has to provide proof that they did indeed deliver it. Since you sent it as Friends and Family, the chances of recovering the funds almost reduces to none. |
