TERMINAL EMULATOR - Mavspammer - Jul 28, 2016

Hi Guys,

I am building my school project and I was asked to build a command prompt, but I got it to this level on my vb program, but it does not change directory nor open an application, which is the basic reason why I was asked to create this program, below are the code and interface.

So there's a ton of things that could be done better here, the first would be that you should stay away from timers unless absolutely necessary. Why are you looping to check the status of the combobox when you could just handle the event for when the selected index is changing? And even more so instead of using Select Case, why not use [Enum].Parse()? Another thing is what if the user's main drive isn't C:\? And in this scenario I would recommend using Tasks over Threads
