Free Guide On How To Install Sky TV Openbox - UTRONEX - Jul 31, 2016
UTRONEX's Complete Guide On How To Install Sky TV Openbox After my last popular guide on how to install Kodi (Found here- https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5145210). I decided it was time to show you all how to access the entire Sky TV package through the Openbox v8s. Altogether this cost me £70 to set up. That included buying the box, ethernet cable and server. The server that you buy will last you for 12 months. What you will need before you get started.. Openbox v8s (You can buy this from eBay or Amazon) An ethernet cable or wifi dongle (depending on what you will be using) A USB stick (Any size will do) Your laptop or computer A line from a server (we'll get to this part later) The one other thing you will need is an existing Sky TV dish and the cable coming from it. PLEASE NOTE- You do NOT need Sky TV! You only need the Sky TV dish and the cable (for the signal). 1. Set up your Openbox v8s. You'll need the HMDI cable, ethernet cable (or wifi dongle), power cable and your Sky TV satellite cable plugging in. Once it's all plugged in, press the power button on your remote and wait for your Openbox to fully load up. 2. So first, we will get the easy stuff out the way. In this part, all we are doing is downloading some updates and installing them on your box. First thing you'll be doing is heading over to http://eopenbox.co.uk/firmware/ to update your firmware. Download Openbox v8s. 3. Next, head over to http://www.ajsat.co.uk/ and click "Standard List". This will download the latest channel list. If you ever find any of your channels are scrambled you can come back here and download the updated channel list. 4. Copy these files over to your USB stick. 5. Put the USB stick into the front of your Openbox and clicked menu on your remote. 6. Scroll over until you find "Upgrade By USB" and press OK. 7. It should automatically be on your firmware upgrade so click start. Wait for it to run through the process and your box may reset itself. If it does, just wait for it to load up again :) 8. After it has finished loading, go across to "Upgrade By USB" again and select "Misc Files". Go down to the bottom and click "Select & Upgrade". Select your TP_PROG.dbs file, click green to select it then yellow to upgrade. 9. Now, to get connected to the internet, scroll across to "Network Setting" and press OK. Depending on which one you're using, go through the setup and connect to the internet. Once done, come out of the menu and back onto your main TV screen.

You can access channels from the FAV button on your remote now. All the normal (free channels) will work fine, all the others (paid for) will be "scrambled". Lets fix that :) 11. You'll need to purchase a server line and put it onto the openbox. To purchase one, go on eBay and search for "openbox gift". Don't pay anymore that £20 for one of these, they all do the same job. 12. Once purchased, you'll be given a server line. It will look something like this. 13. Copy the line that you are sent and do NOT change anything. Paste it into a notepad file and go into file> save as. Change the file type to "All files" and save as CCcam.cfg 14. Copy that notepad file onto your USB stick and put it back into your openbox. 15. Now, you want to go back into the menu and scroll across to where you see "Network Setting". You need to open a secret menu on the box by pressing 6666. Once pressed you should see "Camds Setup" appear. Go down and open it. 16. Click "Update files by USB". Select "CCcam.cfg" click green, then yellow. * - UTRONEX - Jul 31, 2016 17. Once finished, click on "Manage config files". Then OK on "CCcam.cfg. You should see your server up and running (I have blocked out my user). At the end it should say "Need Reboot" so go ahead and turn your box off then back on again using the remote.
You're all done :) If you followed this guide step by step, everything should work perfect. I wish! Sky TV customers pay well over £1000 a year for all of these channels! * - Enzio - Jul 31, 2016 HQ as fuck as always 🎉 * - JASON AND MEDEA - Jul 31, 2016 (Jul 31, 2016 11:37 AM)UTRONEX Wrote: No problem man! Vouch for this. I'm a Sky customer, I honestly don't know why... Pay like £130 a month I think, but that includes or internet. I don't even use our Sky line either. We use BT most of the time so there's not even a point in having it anymore. I may install one of these, thanks! * - UTRONEX - Jul 31, 2016 (Jul 31, 2016 12:32 PM)Conor McGregor Wrote: Vouch for this. I'm a Sky customer, I honestly don't know why... Nah man you want to get one of these installed ASAP, get Sky on the phone and tell them to fuck off! They extort their customers, breaking up movies and sports in such a way that you have no choice but to purchase every package they have. I thought this was too good be true but it's really not. I've ran my for two months now with absolutely no problems at all. I've shared it with HF because I think more people need to know about it. A lot of people don't do it because they think it's hard to do when it's not. Go for it dude and any help you need just drop me a PM :) * - GDUFF567 - Jul 31, 2016 Posting for later. I've heard nothing but good comments. :) * - xDowwdeen - Aug 1, 2016 This is amazing have used it before, the only down side is you don't get the Sky Channels in HD any more, as they changed there encryption and hasn't been bypassed again. But you do get the BT Sport Channels in HD and others just the Sky Sports and Movies you don't. * - UTRONEX - Aug 2, 2016 Yeah I'm hoping they will be de-encrypted soon that would be awesome. I've got to say though, for a hacked service, the quality is pretty damn good :) * - Magma - Aug 2, 2016 Quick question - will this work in the US? |
