I had created a file last night and forgot its password. What to do now? Please help...

this is most likely untrue :P winrar doesn't require a password if it was made on your computer.
if it wasn't made on your computer the only method is bruteforce

If he did set a password while creating the rar then it will ask for the password even on his computer

You know you can archive files with password protection right? I had a winrar file of some shit that I forgot the password of for 3 years. I had been close for a while it was just a capitalization issue.
I looked into it for quite a while and it seemed brute forcing was the only option, which I had already assumed anyway. GL OP
