American Prison System - BRΞNDΞN - Aug 16, 2016
Anyone seen that show 60 Days In? As an American it really disgust me.
Our prison systems are horrible. Prisoners are treated like garbage. Shouldn't we be rehabilitating them so they can exit prison and join society again instead of exiting prison and becoming worse?
We have shows on TV like Jail that highlight how fucked up American jails are and we just sit back and go "Heh, that's crazy". Why doesn't anybody here think to themselves "Wouldn't it make more sense to do what other nation's are doing and focus on getting people help instead of treating them like animals?".

Is this the wrong section? Considering the lounge been...well...bad lately I figured i'd post something decent enough to discuss.
And yes it is very real. That is how many U.S prisons function.

Oh no. This thread isn't really about the show itself. I was just using it as a reference. I'll change the title.
