The only Gundam I have ever watched was G Gundam Mobile Fighter, however I have heard that Mobile Suit Gundam Seed & Gundam Unicorn (its OVA I believe) we're pretty good as well. The one you have seems decent.

00 was considered to be one of the most renown stories in the Gundam franchise. I definitely think that you should give it a go and see how you like it. I considered it to be one of my favorite.
