Learning resources like Code Academy - Savyer - Aug 19, 2016

I'm very new to coding (I did start a number of years ago but I didn't really bother putting effort in and continuing with it) and have complete the basic Code Academy tasks to gain a foundation of understanding of Python. I was wondering if there are any other learning resources like Code Academy with a similar style of teaching.

Additionally I am looking for some cool ideas for projects which I could use to practice when my skills have developed to a greater degree of standing.

-Thanks

codeschool.com is also a good resource very similar to CodeAcademy.

As far as good beginner projects are concerned, I would recommend making simple scripts to automate tasks on your computer such as a batch file renamer or image resizer. Also, twitter bots are quite fun and easy to make using the official Twitter API.

Wow, I do think an image resizer would actually be useful. Thanks for the reply, I will check out CodeSchool.
