The one I have now, Timex Expedition. http://timex.ca/watches/expedition-scout-tw4b01900 < this one specifically. I have a different watch strap on it though.
I don't like huge fancy discs with three other smaller clocks under it, how many times are you actually gonna care about the rest? I want to look down, see the time and day, and this fits my needs perfectly. I've had mine for almost four years now, hasn't fucked up once. I just have to change the day every second month because it always goes up to 31.
It's water resistant too, like extremely.

I like it because it has all the features as mine, but the dial on the side is slightly lower, so it's not always stabbing your wrist when you bend your hand upwards.

Agreed.
Timex makes good watched and they're affordable. Nothing else is needed.
