Show Past Edits of a Thread - FiftyTwo - Aug 21, 2016
Huge apology if already suggested.
I was thinking of there being a feature where you can see the past edits of a thread.
Why can this be useful?
In the following scenario:
User A is selling a program to user B, but doesn't mention that there's a possibility of getting banned on the corresponding website by using the program.
User B gets banned and complains that user A didn't state that.
User A quickly changed the thread to state it.
User B says you just changed it but even though it shows he changed the thread at that time, there's not really any way to prove that he added that specific statement into the thread.
As a result, user B is left with a banned (possibly important) account, and a loss of money.
So I believe it can be helpful if you could see the past edits of a thread's OP.
Anyone agree or disagree?

This should be implemented honestly, it'd be a good feature, but at the same time there are people who ask a question and then edit the title and thread saying "Thanks everyone for the help" or if something isn't allowed to be posted, they edit the thread to say "Sorry, not allowed to be discussed" but people can still see the original post. Both have their ups and downs.

No, admins can already see the changes from what I think. That's why you screenshot the thread before doing a deal just in case.

True but I think it'd only matter if they didn't realise they broke a rule, or if they were notified but didn't do anything about it.

I thought the same, however staff don't get involved in deal disputes so that doesn't really mean anything in this suggestion.

When are we upgrading?
Omniscient had the upgrade planned for February or March but I assume that something went wrong or something came up. Either way, he's probably working on it and it'll come eventually.
