How strict are some of the rules really? - Cimex - Aug 22, 2016

I've been around this website for a while now, and I've gradually learned that HF takes no bullshit from anyone, and bans people who need to be banned for whatever rule they break.

My question is, how seriously are some of the rules really taken by admins?

I have PM'd two admins about a certain multi account user, who was a scammer. I caught him early when I found something suspicious, gave them all research and evidence to all links to the old account, and I have heard nothing back / don't see this user closed yet.

It has been exactly one week now and he is steadily been building his profile up with over 100 posts now. Once a scammer, always a scammer.

Does this process take longer than 7 days? It wasn't a big private message, would only take a couple of minutes to look over.

Not naming names, just asking if maybe it takes longer than one week? Or is there more to it?

Thank you!

People get banned and closed if that action is deemed fit by staff. They're probably just busy doing other stuff too with the behemoth that is HF

Fair enough. I understand they may be busy with more important things, just thought that multi-accounts weren't allowed

Well there is a rule HF not getting into deal disputes, if Staff/Admins went around banning all the people who have had scam reports opened on them, it'd be dying slowly.
So if actions needs to be done, then it will be, just be patient.

Well, you just need to be patient, sometimes they might be busy with their private life.

Its not the fact he has a scam report open, as he doesnt on this account... I was talking about multiple accounts.

Like you said, they are probably busy yes, i understand that, just thought id ask anyway.

There isnt 2 admin, only one, and it's Omni. Other are staff, you should only PM Omni about multi.

Every rule is meant to be taken seriously, some people actually get lucky but don't take the chance.

If you ask me i will say you did your part and now you should not worry what happens further and i am sure that you know that those who run the site are aware and will give justice when they feel its needed.
I will like to say GoodJob mate!
and keep it up!

And you obviously don't read the rules enough. Staff do not get involved with that.
