Inspiron 7559 Updated bios, bricked laptop. - GeorgeMiller - Aug 25, 2016 Yo, I updated the bios with software from dell website and when I restarted laptop, it just went straight to BSOD. I managed to get in but downgraded to bios to original version. It is now constantly in BSOD when I boot up. It wont boot from USB, other HDD or ssd. Help ples. ;( THANKS * - RelationShit - Aug 25, 2016 Bring it to the store you bought it from. * - GeorgeMiller - Aug 25, 2016 Got it second hand :P So I can't :( * - ๖ۣۜOpulence - Aug 25, 2016 BSOD does not equal bios update. The bios update was most likely irrelevant, scan your HDD to make sure it's still good try a restore point in windows if you HDD is good but you are still unable to recover windows do a clean install. I can guarantee the laptop is fine, issue lies with windows or HDD. * - GeorgeMiller - Aug 25, 2016 (Aug 25, 2016 01:53 PM)๖ۣۜOpulence Wrote: BSOD does not equal bios update. Can usually be accessed from boot menu. |
