What is userscript, or what language is it similar too? 2. Any tips or tutorials for beginners? * - Hash G. - Sep 1, 2016 (Sep 1, 2016 12:09 PM)๖ۣۜMrDark Wrote: I have basic questions 1. A userscript is a simple JavaScript file. You have to add some extra comments at the top of the file to include informations relative to the script such as author, name, version etc, but once it's done it's plain JavaScript. To use one, you gotta download a userscript manager, such as GreaseMonkey for Firefox, TamperMonkey for chrome etc. 2. There's one sticky in this section, read it. You need to have some experience with interacting with the DOM with JavaScript though, but that comes pretty well by learning. * - Bαker - Sep 1, 2016 Would you say that Userscript is like AppleScript in a way? or no * - Hash G. - Sep 1, 2016 (Sep 1, 2016 02:01 PM)๖ۣۜMrDark Wrote: Would you say that Userscript is like AppleScript in a way? or no Again, userscripts are JavaScript.
