What is Poseidon?
It is a Mass Mailer Client, Coded in Delphi. Its main purposes are:
~ Bulk emailing / email marketing:
Send easily a big number of emails to many addresses at once.
Receiver addresses can be loaded from an emails list, or entered manually.
For example, if you have a text file containing 100 email addresses, you just need a few clicks to load the list in Poseidon.
~ Email flooder: for overload testing purposes only.
Send repeatedly many email messages with an high frequency. The maximum frequency depends on the available connection speed, on a medium bandwidth it can be higher than 1 message per second, on faster connections it can be higher than 5-10 messages per second.
How can I use Poseidon?
You just need:
Computer with Windows (from WinXP to Win10)
SMTP server used to relay email; obviously you don't have necessarily to own SMTP server, but you can use many free email accounts (Hotmail, Gmail etc.).
The faster your connection is, the better Poseidon will work especially when sending many emails in an high frequency. It is also recommended to use a good SMTP server: some of them have a limit of emails that can be sent per day by same email address.
Poseidon client is programmed to be independent and doesn't require external dependencies.
Main features:
~ HTML support: you can choose to write plain text emails, or write them in HTML. You can also paste all the html code from webpages / files.
- Attachment support: you can attach files.
- Saving / loading of mail lists: you can load many email addresses at once into Poseidon without the need to type each one manually. Few clicks and you can load them from a text file containing the list (supported format example: "[email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected]"). In the same way, you can save the Poseidon targets list in a mail list file.
- Automatic saving of settings: your settings are automatically saved in a .ini file when you close the client, so you don't have to input same settings again when you reopen the application.

That actually looks like a great mailer, and I love the fact that you coded it in delphi!
Also, a small mistake in the OP, it should be coded:

Nice project .. i made a primitive version of it a few days back but did it in pyton with no GUI. The problem im having with mass mail is the usual limit set by email providers. e.g. gmail allows 400 emails sent per day. Adding multiple account feature would defo boost your product. Good luck.
