Junk and PM Prune - Omniscient - Aug 31, 2016
I just took HF offline to do some pruning. The Junk is completely pruned and user post counts are recounted.
I'm also in the middle of PM pruning. That should take some hours actually. I don't normally take HF offline to do the PM prunes.
Enjoy and thanks.

Will you ever prune posts of closed accounts? ;)

Thanks for the update.

What do you mean by PM prune?

Good work Omni, keeping HF on point!
EDIT: just noticed my post count has dropped, also my prestige but I assume that's because post count is a factor in prestige..

Get ready for the "what happened to my post count?" threads.

Eventually I will prune all posts older than X days. Most likely somewhere around 5-7 years past. Since we're coming up on 10 years of HF I think a prune of the first few years of posts is needed. When that prune happens then many accounts will have 0 posts and then those will get pruned.
Likely this will happen before the end of the year.
