Facebook Group Monetizing - ASAPHacks - Sep 2, 2016 Hey guys, I am an admin for a Facebook group with well over 10.000 members in total and hundreds of daily active members. We are a Buy/Sell/Trade group for a luxury clothing brand. We've grown a lot lately and we want to do a giveaway to thank our members. Only thing is, since we are a luxury clothing group, the giveaway items can get somewhat expensive. We are looking for ways to fund a giveaway, potentially using our members. I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions on how to do so? I'm looking forward to seeing your suggestions! Thanks in advance 🤝 * - l33t01 - Sep 2, 2016 Hello ASAPHacks, i dont understand you clearly , but i think you're trying to thank your memebers of your group by giving them something/.. If u want to make giveaways with luxury things that could be really expensive, but trying using online shopping like : ALIEXPRESS , Amazon or similiar.. You choose the product that is cheap , and you can delivery to their house directly! * - Modern day Hippy - Sep 2, 2016 Hell no, Ive owned groups 77k+. I wouldn't give away items unless you're making some money yourself. I would wait until it gets bigger. * - Latinsnake - Sep 2, 2016 I don't really get it, you own a group, topic is a luxury brand? So for example a Facebook Group about LV stuff? Indeed, giveaways can be very expensive and I would only do it if you think there is more potential for the group to grow significantly sooner or later. Did you think about giving away other free stuff, maybe luxury-related but not from that specific brand? * - ASAPHacks - Sep 2, 2016 Thanks for the replies guys, I appreciate it 🤝 We want to give away an item of that brand, because our group is specifically made for that brand. It wouldn't make much sense to give away other non brand related items. The items traded in our group range from $80 to $2000 dollars in price range, so there is some wiggle room. Maybe you guys have some suggestions on how to monitize the group, in order to get some funds for a giveaway? (possibly a partnership with stores that sell this specific brand?) * - Modern day Hippy - Sep 2, 2016 (Sep 2, 2016 07:41 AM)ASAPHacks Wrote: Thanks for the replies guys, I appreciate it 🤝 If it is a local type of swapping group, Yes a partnership is possible which would fund you in a way. But the group is still small for monetizing right now. If you want you can link me and I'll tell you based on it's activity. |
