Safe Botting - Avoiding the BanHammer - Amoural - Sep 8, 2016 For a few weeks now I have been working on botting without bans. I used to get accounts to level 25-30 with sniped pokemon running human configs with about a 10-20% ban rate. Human config being randomized movement speed earning somewhere around 10-20k xp an hour. After a few weeks I dropped the ban rate to 0% by doing a few things. 1. Bot a uncommon location. Everyone runs bots in the "hotspots" with large amounts of rare pokemon and pokespots, but why? just run the bot on a college campus/capital of some state with a decent number of pokestops. I run my bot in atlanta for a few reasons, this is one of them. 2. Bot a location that matches the IP The other reason I bot in atlanta is because my proxies are based out of atlanta. Looks pretty odd if the IP from middle of fucking nowhere kansas has a location in central park. Botting the same area as the IP makes you even safer 3. Don't bot all day. Keep your botting periods reasonable. I didn't feel like manually doing that so i just run a batch file to do the delays for me. Code @ECHO OFFI think everyone knows this one, but just make sure you change your device ID on the bot as you rotate accounts. I would stop botting once you hit 25-30, I haven't really tried botting past 30. If anyone has any experience with ban rates botting past 30 let me know, I am interested in that kind of data. Now lets get back to botting this dead game. * - SL x TnT - Sep 8, 2016 Sorry to tell you this, but they haven't banned anyone in nearly 2 weeks. When they were banning, I had people test IP vs location. Made no difference. Hitting the limits and gaining too much exp within a short period seemed to be the major cause. Bans appeared halfway through the 20s, and rarely appeared below that. * - Amoural - Sep 8, 2016 (Sep 8, 2016 10:01 PM)SL x TnT Wrote: Sorry to tell you this, but they haven't banned anyone in nearly 2 weeks. Damn I really thought I figured this out 😠Guess we wait until the next banwave. * - desynk - Sep 9, 2016 (Sep 8, 2016 10:01 PM)SL x TnT Wrote: Sorry to tell you this, but they haven't banned anyone in nearly 2 weeks. That's not true I was banned 2-4 days ago or something like that. * - SL x TnT - Sep 9, 2016 (Sep 9, 2016 01:26 PM)desynk Wrote: That's not true I was banned 2-4 days ago or something like that. Does it say that on a bot or the official app? Sometimes that app will give you "unable to authenticate" for reasons other than a ban. * - Controlled - Sep 9, 2016 well, i don't run my bot too much, i am at level 22 and i have only been running the bot so often for the last 2 weeks, i have a hotspot set for catching. I will tell you all when i get banned, if i do. I think they are waiting to do a major ban wave or they are looking into a new way of catching bots! |
