Digimon/Pokemon Tamagotchi type system, raise a pokemon - hatch more, visit friends tamagothi so forth - even add a battle type system.
Get special eggs for legendary pokemon/digimon by trading/visiting other players.

Pokemon/digimon egg clicker, same idea as cookie clicker and all the rest, just something simple - unlock a new egg which takes a new amount of clicks to get, eggs hatch and get added to your "pokedex"

Another barcode type game where you scan random barcodes and unlock monsters, similar to these bad boys

Trying to remember that old school game that you would insert a disc into a computer and each disc would be a new monster - a newer version of something like that would be awesome, some discs could represent items/clothing/special unlockables for your creatures already saved.
Those temple running games, you could have a pokemon trainer running through the memorable cities and regions and on their journey pokemon appear and you have to try collect/catch them.

Those certainly look like nice ideas, would have picked one if I had the time for it, but feels kinda like a waste to leave them be, so might recommend them to some one I know and see what will happen.

It's just for the ideas mainly, Pokemon is widely known so you can take these ideas and make what you want from them.

Pokemon TM is registered even before you were born, you can't just use their content then sell/free the app on any market. Just sayin, but you probably already know that.

Speaking of, I think the pokemon trademark was only registered in 97.
I get what you are saying by the exaggeration however as stated above, Pokemon is the most commonly known "style" I am using and can be interpreted into many different genres/styles.

Fact of the matter is they already all exist your just doing a small modification to theme or device used. Nothing unique imo

I understand what you are saying but there are a couple unique ideas in there that haven't been revisited since early 2000s'.
The whole point is to get some ideas for people and copy games do work.

HTML5 and websockets have changed online games dramatically, you just don't know it yet
Using the two, you can make a multiplayer game that can be played on any device with a web browser
