[TUTORIAL] CREATE SKYPE USERNAME :: 9/15/2016 :: - King of Diamonds - Sep 15, 2016

Requirements:
[•] Skype v3.8

Virus Scan: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/abda169a13f86177c437992497edb9b4c49982e615634621979b1d2f3f92b551/analysis/

If you don't feel the file is safe, just use VirtualMachine. No one will probably want to use this Skype version anyways.

So this is a fairly simple tutorial. I've noticed that recently Microsoft has been implementing more things to skype. Now, the only way to create a custom Skype username is for you to own some kind of email with that particular name (ex. [email protected] would give you the skype live:example.) Even so, you're given the "live:" extension which you may not be happy with for your own personal reasons.
I've recently figured out another option due to the user who goes by Soulmate. Essentially, just download the Skype v3.8 file without any previous versions of skype installed and sign up on the application as you would in general. And there you go! You now have the ability to create your own skype username, rather than just have you input your email / phone number or password.

Thanks for reading this thread, it took me some time to write up so just commenting a thanks would be amazing.

Yeah this absolutely works but you cant get an endpoint from any older skype version like 6.21 design so this means you are offline, but still works in the last version.

So Microsoft fucked it up due to many skype deob public (6.16) and shit, when u register an account from this method unless u have an old account, u can still use any endpoint in every skype version.

This is for people who dont know what is an endpoint from /showplaces:

"The first number is just a unique endpoint identification number assigned by the system. This is only needed by Skype technical support for some troubleshooting scenarios. You won't ever need this yourself.

Think of those Skype account endpoints as Skype instances that are registered to receive notifications about any Skype activity that take place in your conversations. That's why you will see a new endpoint added to the list if you sign in from a new device or in Outlook.com. And at the same time you will see an entry removed if you explicitly use the "Sign out" command on your Skype client.

What in the world is an endpoint?
