Unreal Engine ? - rynage - Sep 16, 2016

Hello everyone!
Probably you heard about Unreal Engine and BluePrints.
Does BluePrints are better/faster than C++ ?
I would like to know your opinion about it.

C++ is faster than Blueprints, however in 4.11+ the blueprints are compiled to C++ then compiled to to native like normal, so it will be about the same speed (but it's not as efficient as if you just wrote the C++ yourself), but they're working on it more and more and the current release has them to be pretty close to the same speeds.

But trust me, this won't be your bottleneck no matter what, there are whole triple A games written even in the OLD blueprints that you wouldn't notice it, just make sure you're writing everything correctly.
