I think he can. He will be stronger and have better cardio att 155, 145 is not good for a "big" guy like Conor. Too much weight cut. I think that mentally he is even stronger, especially now after the Diaz fights , that loss did him well. I like eddie but that fight against RDA was a lot of luck. I believe that Conor will pick eddie slowly apart,

Haha thats a good one. But ufc owed Conor a fight at lightweight after RDA pulled out. Conor is big business and as always money comes first.
I feel bad for Khabib that did not get the fight he wanted. But he will eventually get his title shot and maybe against Conor :)

This is the best card the UFC has had by a long stretch.
I see this as another challenge for McGregor. Conor will have the reach advantage like usual but if Alvarez can make it past the second round, McGregor will tire and he can go for a takedown. We saw a glimpse of McGregor takedown defence against Diaz but for some reason I feel as if Diaz was too reluctant when going for the takedowns. Either way, huge fight.
I also see Joanna picking apart Karolina. I love Karolina but it's hard to see her overcome Joanna.
Honestly, there's at least 4 fights on this card that could main event and probably 8 of these fights could easily be main event of a Fight Night, so that says something about the enormity of this event.

Whilst I admire Conor, he really should have vacated the 145 pound belt since he hasn't defended yet. This would mean for 205 he would defend and Khabib would get the title shot against Eddie but w/e
