First episode was pretty good. It definitely started out much better than the first season. It also seems a bit of time has passed since the events of season one. I'm hoping this season turns out to be really good.

This seems like one of the Gundam anime that will have more than two seasons though. I'm almost certain this season will have 25 episodes that build up to a bigger climatic point but not ending, just because this story feels kind of longer with no particular field of aim yet. I'm really hoping this goes in the same kind of route as Gundam SEED though and peeks at around 100 episodes.

How's the art with the newer Gundams, seems more CGI from what I can tell lest I'm mistaken.

No CG. But it appears to look that way because of the art and particular mobile suit designs. Sunrise always manages to amaze me when animating Gundam. So far I believe nothing has been CG, but then again I could be wrong because lots of anime have minor usage of CG when it comes to certain things, including Gundam series in the past. But as far as I'm aware no mobile suit themselves were animated with CG. Their designs just look more bulky and three-dimensional.

Do people actually like the mobile battle suit shit. So boring for me they are all the same... they just shoot rockets and stuff.

Gundam is extremely popular in Japan, so yes.

Ah alright, perhaps it is indeed the art design, but many modern anime use some form of CGI nowadays to speed up the production. Will still check this one out though eventually ;)

I would definitely not start off with Iron-Blooded Orphans. The series is still airing, and it is more on the lackluster side for being a Gundam series. I find it to personally be less impressionable in comparison to other series.

I recommend starting with either Gundam 00, Gundam SEED, Gundam Wing, G Gundam, Gundam AGE, or the original Mobile Suit Gundam.

The original Mobile Suit Gundam is recommended because that is the original timeline with an abundant of sequels. Only problem for most people is the very old and outdated use of animation; Although the sequels do gradually get animated better.

Newest episode was pretty good. I really love the new Barbatos Lupus. The design and weapon attachments had me sold. The side guns remind me of Gundam Heavy Arms. And the melee weapons are just badass to see. Gundam Gusion is pretty cool too even though it's hard to tell it's a Gundam. Actually really liking all these mobile suit designs though.
