I'm stupid as hell. I got one of those generic product keys off the internet and put it in to replace the one I already had bought just to test it. Now when I enter my old product key it says invalid key. Any help?

You're referring to it as your old product key; does that mean you've used it before? If so I don't think you can re use it again. Sorry if I'm wrong, just shooting here 🤗

You can always just reinstall Windows 10 and it'll become digitally activated on your machine.

if you have a valid windows 7 or windows 8 key and then you upgrade to windows 10. it will switch over and plus, if you reinstall a new hard drive. You will not ever need it because it will automatically pick up.
