High Quality vs. Low Quality - minimalist - Oct 4, 2016
Posting without putting much effort into the presentation of your words makes users see you differently. Make a habit of it and they'll see you as the same old low quality member.
But what is quality on an Internet forum? Why are we judged by the quality of our posts? Why should we need to upkeep a fake persona to impress others? Do we really care about helping others?
The way I see it, and the thing that I've learned, is that the answers to the questions above are, in order:
- an arbitrary figure
- because we are taught to appreciate this arbitrary figure
- we don't
- sometimes; usually no
What I'm trying to get at here is, don't take this forum too seriously as I have in the past. We're all going full-circle and the quality of our posts shouldn't define who we are.
And yes, I'm salty about not getting into Red Lions. Fuck off.

I hear buying awards is the best way to get to high quality status.
More research still needs to be done, but the correlation seems to be there.
I do know the more posts you have, the more you can shitpost, while still remaining "HQ" by ratio.
