for loops are good for working with lists
dictionary(similar to tuples and lists) are good for key: and value storage but are immutable (unchangeable).

I'd recommend finding a book on Python starting from the basics so you can go over syntax and also make sure it has basic exercises so you can test out and play around with them in your own environment. for, if and while loops are not difficult topics they simply take the effort. That goes for dictionaries and lists as well. Lookup A Byte of Python or Python Crash Course. Goodluck, pm if you need help.

Codecademy only taught 2.7+ if I recall correctly. Which will be unsupported by 2020.
