Admin and Community Input on Tutorial Posting - Theft - patflexx - Oct 13, 2016 I read over the rules posted in this section, I did not find anything that would technically disallow it, but I wanted input from the admins and community on me possibly posting a type of tutorial (if allowed, and welcomed, where to post it). I would consider posting a retail theft tutorial, Not a guide just for informing people of techniques, but also ways to not get caught - From A retail management worker at a major retail store. Ethics are extremely questionable, but there is no way around it, people do it, and for some it could be used as a way to learn how to combat it. If there are no rules against this, how would people feel about this type of Guide? (Almost as important as policy). * - DefinitelyNotHex - Oct 13, 2016 (Oct 13, 2016 07:39 PM)patflexx Wrote: I read over the rules posted in this section, I did not find anything that would technically disallow it, but I wanted input from the admins and community on me possibly posting a type of tutorial (if allowed, and welcomed, where to post it). I would assume if it has anything to do with theft it is probably disallowed. * - patflexx - Oct 13, 2016 (Oct 13, 2016 07:41 PM)DefinitelyNotHex Wrote: I would assume if it has anything to do with theft it is probably disallowed. I know certain forms of theft discussion are disallowed, but I wanted to inquire before I made an effort to create a tutorial. as a newer member of this forum, and as a member altogether, if this was allowed, what would your views on a tutorial like that be? I don't want to post something that people may find "petty" or pointless. * - Night Fury - Oct 13, 2016 I think a guide that involves illegal activity will not be allowed here. * - Fellow Man - Oct 13, 2016 I would love to hear it lol PM me * - VirtualFrost - Oct 13, 2016 If we can't discuss online theft I couldn't see it being okay to discuss real life theft * - Bluffer - Oct 13, 2016 Sorry mate I can almost guarantee you this will not be allowed on here. * - bοxxy - Oct 13, 2016 Yeah this wouldn't be allowed, and is frowned upon here. * - patflexx - Oct 13, 2016 Alright, thanks for everyone's input. All makes sense, it was what I suspected, Saved me some time, and trouble with everyone's help.
