Quick Info:

General RAT Info:

- a RAT is software that allows you to remotely control a system as if you have physical access to the system.
- RATs are intended for legal use and are not to be used in malicious ways.
- Paid RATs will have HWID protection, meaning you cannot share your license with anyone else.
- RATs will be detected by Antivirus software unless the stub is crypted.


Crypter Info:

- a Crypter is software that encrypts software, generally to hide it from Antiviruses and provide protection against reverse engineering.
- Just as Antivirus software will consistently release updates, all crypters must also do the same to stay FUD.
- Scantime detection is when your stub gets detected by Antivirus software without it being executed. Runtime detection is when your stub gets detected by Antivirus software when executed. Scantime results are useless if the file is runtime detected.
- FUD stands for "Fully Undetected" and refers to a file being both scantime and runtime undetected.
