Soulmate - Testimony - Soulmate~っ☆ - Oct 28, 2016 I have written so much criticism about the site that sometimes I forget that I wouldn't be where I am in life without it. This is the best time for me to say something positive as all my recent feedback threads mostly contain negative content. 2011 I joined HF under the name Ninetales, which I then changed to Soulmate after a few months. I joined to sell Gamertags, plain and simple and HF was hands down the best platform to do that at the time. I started out with one gamertag, sold a few others and kept buying and reselling. Eventually I walked away with over $1k profit and my dream tag. Later during the year I joined the group Haunter Gang. It was terribly Low Quality but it made me want to look for more groups, which are the reason I am still here today. 2012-2015 As I stopped selling in the marketplace I became more involved in groups, which is still my favorite feature on HF and one of the reasons I come back here for more than 2 hours each day. I first donated $250 to Positive so that he could keep the group TechSperts running. Soon after, it changed to Rhythm which is where I was very active. I love HF's usergroups because every group is different and you can take away a lot of friends or learn a lot of valuable information from each group. Rhythm was my first lounge group, and at the time my friend Hexicidal also owned Logic which provided many great SRPP discussions. 2016 By now you might be wondering why my other account was closed. In early 2016 I came back to HF after being inactive for a few years. All my friends were gone and there were a lot of trolls at the time, as well as some groups which I thought were not what groups ideally should be. This caused me to make a long "feedback" thread of rants about how the old HF was better, everyone is LQ, groups suck, etc and this led to the closure of my account. I figured I deserved it so I stayed off the site for a few more months until I decided I wanted to come back which was when Omni replied to my contact email and said I was allowed. I was extremely grateful and did not expect Omni to allow me to return. After all I was probably the last one who deserved a second chance. Since then, I have been back better than ever with better attitude, mood, and my general posting quality as well as the ability to help members have improved. I want to thank Omni and thank HF for providing the best forum community for literally everything. You may think this is exaggerated but almost 50% of my life skills I have learned from HF over these past 5 years. It's crazy how you can go to one site and learn how to code, web design, learn how to play games better, make art and graphics, learn to write better, and sell your items. If I never went on HF, I would have never been able to sell any of my items and I would never learn the valuable skills I learned from my stay. Thank you Omniscient and thank you to the community for making me a better, more mature, and skilled individual. Now that I have taken in everything I want to learn it's my time to give back to the community in any way I can. |
