CGI anime - Zexo - Nov 2, 2016
Just finished ajin which was made with CGI and i'm not sure how I feel about it.
I like it but I think I prefer to just have regular animations as the fights and such look pretty sloppy with CGI.
Not sure want other people's opinions maybe i'm just stuck in old times.

Personally Ajin was the only anime to pull CGI off properly.

Although you are right about it looking a little weird in fight scenes, it really makes the anime feel unique.

Compared to a few other CGI animes I've seen, it wasn't too sloppy or distracting. It actually kind of complemented the effects they were trying to pull off.

It's horrendous.
I tried watching Ajin after finishing parasyte and the frame rate was beyond garbage. The animation style was fine, but dear god the frame rate.

Fight scenes were better than Beck. If you can watch the fight scenes in Beck you can watch anything.

Well it depends on a Variety of factors I mean this:
Was done by at the time very unexperienced animators and it's incredible.
Immagine someone like Mounty Oum had the resources to do this like on a professional, it would be amazing.
p.s. Chapeter 4 has started and the animation got leaps better.
there can bee good CGI anime but the problem is finding people that are good at integrating the two styles and Have Motion Capture and all aswell as funds for this could be a problem.
Little Trivia: RWBY's fight scenes are based on real martial Arts and manny motions seem realistic because they use motion capture and then edit the FLy High stuff and more. Also this food fight took 7 months to make WoW!
RWBY's not anime that I know, but there are manny simple tips and tricks this cartoon here here that will highly benefit CGI animation.

I feel like I'm literally one of the only people who don't care much about graphics.
Try watching Kingdom and rate it a 9/10 like me. The CGI there is terrible but I don't really mind it, the plot is amazing

Don't get me wrong, aside from Clannad I don't care about animation style. But when it's literally unwatchable like Ajins framerate it's different

I hate it but I feel like CGI is the future of anime. It killed Berserk IMO, Ajin it was tolerable. The bit of CGI they throw in the flight scenes of Brave Witches is really ruining it IMO. I hope they change it on the BDs.

Doubt it will change honestly most people enjoy the old animation.
