Eraserhead scared the crap out of when I first saw it.
Dark Skies had a pretty cool concept, but wasn't that scary.
I've only seen the second Insidious movie, but wasn't a big fan.
Saw was pretty good, as long as you just watch the first one, maybe the second, just know it loses it's touch after that.
And I thought Alien was really awesome, as well as it's prequel Prometheus.
