I grasped python before java, though, I'm becoming fond of C lately.

Javascript is usually for web-based projects. If you're shooting to be a software developer, start with Python, then move to C, then (if need be) C++.

Javascript is usually for web-based projects and is not related the the Java programming language.

Most of the C and C++ programmers I meet either started with C or C++ right off the bat or started with Python then moved to C/C++. Sounds like you're on the right track for what you plan to accomplish.

JavaScript is great programming language for the beginners and definately easier to learn then Python. But before you start learning either JavaScript or Python you should think what kind a stuff do you want to do. JavaScript is great for web based projects, but if you want to become a software developer start with Python.

Exactly what I posted...

Start with Python, much better imho.

Javascript doesn't have to be used for just web scripting now with NodeJS, but it definitely is typically used for that.

If you want to become more of a programmer and learn how applications work, I'd learn Python or if you're really set on Javascript, learn it with NodeJS.

idc what anyone says javascript is still one of the hardest languages imo, I can't stand it.

Python is laughably easy in my opinion

It's not really that different... Unless you dive into C/C++, or some shitty language like LISP. Once you know one, you can use any

I honestly know it's not, and maybe it's just the lack of motivation but I've literally never had a problem learnin a language besides JavaScript lol.

What do you find weird/different about it?
