How to reveal passwords behind asterisks (*****) - NapoleonicCode - Nov 6, 2016 Hi guys 🎉 I dont know if this has already been covered up on HF and I know that many of you most likely already know this... but for those that don't here is a nice trick how you can reveal someones password that is masked by asterisks (the star symbol *****) in HTML password boxes. Its very easy to do and it works! All you need to do is right click on the the password - click on the "Inspect Element". Than the HTML inspector will come up, there you will see: type="password". Erase the password and type in "test", so it will look like this: type="test". Look back at the password in the password box and boom, it has been unmasked. Hope you enjoyed and learned something from this 🤝🤝 * - Տnow - Nov 6, 2016 Fun fact i never knew this, thanks man! * - bοxxy - Nov 6, 2016 Ill try with my HackForums password: boxxy12854 * - AeroDrag - Nov 6, 2016 Yea it's pretty basic knowledge but still helpful for some users :) Nice post!
