I just got scammed out of 1300 dollars or so. - Glyco - Nov 14, 2016

I'm a freelance writer, and I took up work with a client on a freelancer site. All seems fine, they send a contract, read it thoroughly and sign off. All's good. Comes time to invoice and no response, nothing.

Like a genius, I googled info about them before but the site looked legitimate. Curious, I googled the email address this time and came up with one or two incidents where others had been frauded out of money by this same email address posting as different people.

1300 dollars is more than I make in a fucking month at my day job. I was going to pay off my credit card and actually go to the dentist to get a bad tooth fixed finally.

Fuck me.

If someone can help get some more info on this email I'd be really grateful :(

They wasted your time, thus you weren't really scammed out of $1300 because nobody took that money from you, love the clickbait title though. For all we know your time is worthless btw :)

Also this thread is likely fake because here you admit that you're actually 16 and suffer from dyslexia - people with dyslexia generally have problems with things like reading and writing, even after being stabilized with medication.

A 16 year old cannot have a credit card, and even if he does the card is co-signed by a parent, so technically said parent actually carries the debt, either you're lying (likely) or your parents are dumb as hell (unlikely) for giving a 16 year old a credit card.

How is it that suddenly you became a freelance writer BTW?

OP is lying and using us as his personal army.
