Hello good morning!
i have installed unreal on my unix vps! for some reason when i run my perl irc bot...when its messaging the channel theres big delay.. then the bot ,how do i fix this? i notice if i always finger version/ping my bot it will show the data in my channell! but if not the bot just pings out,any one who can help fix i will tip them some BTC

Increase the ping_freq in your unrealircd.conf
Open the file and search for 190
Increase to 400

Increase the sendq and recvq

if i set that recvq 32000 any higher it says 32k is the highest?
any solution
that has solved the access flood! only problem is now my perl bot doesnt keep sending data to the channell.. unless i sit pinging/versions the bot... very weird any ideas how to stop the fake laG?
ok thank you for trying to help i fixed it i had to edit the nofakelag; in config.h
