Shadow's 1 year on HF feedback - Egregious Jr. - Dec 2, 2016
Preface:
So it's finally here. After months of waiting and waiting, and months of endless bits of drama and chaos, it's here.
Introduction:
I joined this forum on December 3rd, 2015. Can't exactly remember why, honestly I don't even remember making my account. I think I wanted to leech something from the minecraft section, but I couldn't view without an account. Thus I joined. I became active a few months later. Let the journey begin.
I upgraded to l33t on April 27, 2016. I even still have my PM's with Minimalist.

I upgraded to l33t and that was wonderful. However, at around 630 posts and 63 rep, I was rep killed for an invalid rep. That was on May 15, 2016. I was kinda bummed, but with only 63 rep at the time it didn't bother me too much. I was determined to recover, and I did.
Fast forward a few months, bought a few awards and 3p1c. Despite being denied Ub3r, I never ever wanted to leave the site. Hackforums is a forum truly unique from all others.
On August 10, 2016, I took a long 2 month vacation ban. Wanted a break. I came back on October 10th. Not much has changed here since then.
The state of hackforums:
I think HF is doing well right now. It's a great site and I hope it continues to grow. I hope the stigmas associated with hacking go away soon.
State of groups:
I think groups are meh right now. They seem far too expensive for what they're worth, and most groups to my knowledge don't do much. Maybe if they went down in price we'd see some decent groups.
Staff feedback:
Omniscient - You run an amazing forum. Even if we're not on the best of terms you've done a spectacular job of running the site.
Sam Winchester - Don't know you much, but you seem like you do your job well.
King of Hearts - Great and active staff member. Doing a great job with rocketr as well.
Skorp - I don't even know who you are, I know you as the guy who doesn't send PM's when you give out warnings.
Group feedback:
Notorious - Seems like a cool group, but they won't accept me 😭
Echo - Chill group, has changed a lot imo.
Nightmare - Some random group that does stuff these days
Red Lions - Used to be some exclusive group, now it's way less exclusive imo.
Riptide - Good luck with the group fannas1.
Dawn - ???
Enigma - Was a cool group, until you kicked me.
Fusion - ???
Illuminati - Bandors reply to me on skype
The Order - Group I actually think is good, has a very active SF.
Eclipse - Seems cool, like the old red lions imo.
Titans - ???
Synergy - Looks like a nice group.
Royalty - ???
Legends - Looks like a blackhat group full of carders
Baka - apex is ass

Just seemed like it loosened up a bit.

I see what you mean. Thanks for the feedback on the groups, that's the part I enjoyed most.

Groups are actually as cheap as they've ever been, actually. A few years ago they'd go for $8,000 to $11,000.

Ive had a year and a bit away but at that time Infamous was the highest price a group had sold for, it wasn't near 20K but it was a substantial amount.
