Site is blocked in my country, help with proxies! - kpown - Dec 2, 2016

Hey guys!

My girlfriend is trying to access a site called voot.com to watch some shows, however the site is restricted to india. Of course, i offered to help her and assumed it would be easy to bypass this restriction. I quickly installed hola chrome extension and changed location to india. However, this still didnt work and I was still blocked out.

I then opened up my vpn but i was sad to find that none of the location options were based in india....

I then used this site: https://www.zalmos.com/india-proxy in an attempt to proxy into the site...and I still got the same page...

The final option I can think of is using an indan based elite proxy... I tried using the first one on this list but I am having issues setting it up in my browser. Can someone help me with this issue or if anyone has any suggestions for the country lock I havent tried yet I am all ears.

For Proxy use, I use a program called "Proxifier". It's free, and super easy to use w/ a friendly interface. Quite nice to either chain some proxies, or set some custom rules. This will work for that problem.

Update: I have also tried the google translate proxy method but I got the same result....
