[TuT] Using Mitm on Zanti V2.5 - Raid7 - Dec 13, 2016

This tutorial is dedicated to Mr. Robot's Hack your town project on how to use Zanti V2.5 to perform a man in the middle attack on a network

Okay first we need to download Zanti V2.5 from Here make sure your phone has root privileges before following this tutorial.

Now that we have it downloaded and installed, how do we start the mitm attack, when you first open Zanti it should map your whole network and should look like this:

Now you need to press on Entire Network to start sniffing packets on the whole network you're connected to.

Now we scroll down to the Mitm (Man in the middle) attack and press it.

It should open up a options menu to optimise our attack so we will make sure that SSL Strip is enabled to redirect Https urls to http ones so we can sniff the data and check Redirect Http if you have a fake page to capture passwords.

Now we press on the top right corner to start the attack and start capturing requests and possibly some passwords.

Now just press on View Logged Requests and you should see the requests being made and received from your network users.

Now to view the request data and password just press on it and it will show it up, you can also save it to a file to check it up and get further details later.

Hey mate thanks for the great contribution - I will just say maybe tell them they need to pop an email in to receive the apk as it might be confusing their first time visiting.

Really great tutorial, I will definitely add to this but it's a great easy simple addition for any pentester who wants to be portable.
