Channel hopping failed: Operation not supported (-95) - GrunclePug69 - Dec 15, 2016

Hey trying to make a wifi jammer and I was told to make .bashrc run a program called jammer.py and now I can't use my pi. It keeps blinking the error and I can't type or anything
Plz help me D: I have school work on the card so I don't want to format it

This is much more suited for the Linux subform as this is not a python-specific issue. The fact that you ran the python script is totally irrelevant.

That being said, the file system you're using (most likely ext4) is extremely well-known. You should have no problem retrieving any pertinent data from it such as your schoolwork and formatting it, which is what I'd recommend.

You're recommending formatting the HDD and reinstalling because of a messed up bashrc? Wat? You just need to edit the bashrc and remove the broken line... (Probably an `exec`.)

"and now I can't use my pi"

If he means it's blinking on boot (i.e. before he even logs in and .bashrc gets executed), then the damage may have already been caused.

Just because it's a bashrc doesn't mean jack shit. If my bashrc says "dd if=/dev/urandom of=/dev/sda" then it doesn't matter that it's a "messed up bashrc." The damage is done...

The stipulation, of course, being that he cannot boot...
