Can I hack town network when I know admin password of wifi routers? - vojtrle121 - Dec 20, 2016 Hello community, I successfully get admin login to routers which one of us internet provider installing in town. Is there some possible way to log to wifi router´s and show provider that he is piece of crap? :D I am newbie, I have Kali, I know some types of hacking - that´s all. THANKS 😅 * - Siktah - Dec 21, 2016 So you can connect to the admin panel of a public wireless access point?...how about looking through the actual admin panel settings. You should be able to configure all sorts of stuff once in. I very much doubt you have (only by your admission of being a newbie) access to...I want to say it's called SS7 but really cannot remember or find anything in regards to it. There IS a layer once you're in, you're IN. I had some info a few years ago on it, but I can't find shit anymore, and my memory fades with age. * - vojtrle121 - Dec 21, 2016 No I its is not public wireless access point. Its secured access point mostly with WPA2, i just have logins to admin panel, but I dont know how to use it. * - Lucrid - Dec 21, 2016 Create your own VPN or proxy on the router if it's supported. INSTALL DD-WRT if not. * - /usr - Dec 21, 2016 Hi, if you (Dec 21, 2016 01:43 PM)vojtrle121 Wrote: ... i just have logins to admin panel, but I dont know how to use it. maybe is better if you stop what you are doing. The fact you have Kali doesn't make you an hacker, but a danger if you don't know what you are doing. But it is up to you to understand that this is not legal and the "provider" is not a friend of yours, to show him how his work is shit. This said, admin credentials are used to access the config panel of the router itself, in order to have full access and full control to the router, to the network and the data. And you can't access the router if you are not connected to it, either wired connection or on its own wireless network. Once there, you have to open your browser and type the url of the router. There, you can find the famous login panel for the admin credentials. Hope this can help you. * - whoteoxman - Dec 22, 2016 once you log in why don't you upload a gyazo image? dont forget to blur out what might be identifiable information |
