So i think i got ratted i tried to crack free software and i think i ended up being ratted i saw browsers poping on my screen, small chat box poping up with emjois and shit, i got anxious and my question is should i reinstall my computer or install anti virus tools, as it would be a hassle to reinstall all my files and documents back from a backup hard-disk? So what do you guys think would the anti virus tools completely remove the rats, even good encrypted FUD rats?
I used keyscrambler so he didn't get any passwords or personal information.

Well you can definitely try and remove the virus before you do a full reinstall. I'd first recommend you to make sure all your personal files/passwords etc. are safe though. It's in occasions like this security features like will come in handy. Start with a full virus scan: https://www.eset.com/us/home/online-scanner/ followed by malwarebytes scan: https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/

perform a deep scan and post their reports
To check all your statrup items that starts with windows, all running processes with their commands lines, all connections (established and in listening).
Just copy and paste this batch file on your notepad and save it as STARTUP_ITEMS.bat
