My Computer Specs:
Intel i5 6500
NZXT S340
Gigabyte Z170XP-SLI
CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 2x8
WD Black 5tb
SanDisk 960GB Ultra II
GV-N970XTREME-4GD
Hyper T12 Evo
Is it even still possible to overclock my skylake processor? I have not updated my motherboards bios since I bought it. My processor is locked at 3.2ghz, and I know it can go higher when paired with my after market cooler.

You can overclock that one, but not as easily as a K series CPU. (Ie. Raising multiplier, adding voltage, check stability)
Since you have a Z170 board, you can overclock with the base clock, but I highly recommend NOT doing that unless you absolutely know what you're doing.
