Comodo firewall? - Delta - Jan 5, 2017 Hi, Heard this was one of the best firewalls available to download? Looking for something free not wanting to pay. I downloaded it and it seemed to completely block everything until I setup the rules correctly. * - Captain Steve Rogers - Jan 7, 2017 Comodo is what I used in past, it's nice. * - ๖ۣۜÑåzgйŀ - Jan 9, 2017 I used to like it in the past but now it just consumes way too much memory and CPU I don't know what they did with it they just ruined it windows firewall is usually more than good enough (however it does not detect or report outbound connections like comodo does) having comodo tell you when a program does that is insanely useful for stopping basic keyloggers (and rats) from sending data back to the attacker however i suspect that if the malware injects itself into another process which you flagged as trusted then would comodo not notice it? * - zRenture - Jan 9, 2017 Comodo Firewall Sucks compared to Strixus Firewall Look here ---> Massivealliance .com/strixus * - Mr. WAVES - Jan 9, 2017 I used Comodo in the past. I loved it. I don't use a firewall (only the Windows one) because I don't click on anything. When I want to run something I do it in a virtual machine thank I have a restore point for every boot. But yeah, Comodo is very powerful for a personal PC. * - Delta - Jan 9, 2017 (Jan 9, 2017 12:44 AM)๖ۣۜÑåzgйŀ Wrote: I used to like it in the past but now it just consumes way too much memory and CPUHm that is quite worrying haha. Comodo still tells me about my browser making new connections. I recently logged into my email and it came up before the page was loaded asking me if I wanted to connect so maybe it would? I surely hope it does. Thank you all for the responses Comodo seems to be running fine so i'll stick to it for now :) * - ๖ۣۜÑåzgйŀ - Jan 9, 2017 (Jan 9, 2017 09:06 AM)Kwai Wrote: Hm that is quite worrying haha.
