Best Programming Keyboard? Give your opinion! - iNuke - Jan 8, 2017 Hello HackForums 🤝 I am looking for a programming keyboard, something lightweight and small that I can easily have with me all day long, and with backlighting. I've read several articles, but I am still wondering which one should I take, so I was thinking maybe you programmer/gamer guys could post your keyboards (maybe include some links/pictures) and tell me what you think of it? This thread is not only a question from me, but a discussion between all of us about programming keyboards. Have a great one guys! 👍 * - Deamon_ - Jan 8, 2017 I really like notebook keyboards for programming Especially MacBook keyboards * - Xogg - Jan 8, 2017 Just get a cheap SteelSeries Apex 100 its what i use. Great overall keyboard. * - Sajuuk - Jan 8, 2017 I prefer to use the one that's integrated with my laptop. * - Disease - Jan 8, 2017 (Jan 8, 2017 07:40 AM)iNuke Wrote: Hello HackForums 🤝 I am particularly fond of Das keyboards. I've been using their Ultimate line for some time now- completely black, no lettering on the keys. If you don't touch type now, you will in no time if you use a keyboard without labels. As far as laptops go- I've never gotten into using an external keyboard. The integrated keyboards on laptops do well enough by me. Including my MacBook Pro, which is really the only laptop I dev from. * - morph - Jan 8, 2017 Any keyboard with quickfire switches. You can create a FastFucker 3000 with ultra surround rape screams from SCRATCH in two minutes with them! * - Lord - Jan 8, 2017 I prefer mechanical keyboards over everything else. I love the feel of them. * - iNuke - Jan 8, 2017 Thank you for all your answers, currently taking a look at each references made 🙂 Keep coming if you'd like! * - Stealth™ - Jan 8, 2017 OP, are you looking for a mechanical keyboard? * - iNuke - Jan 8, 2017 (Jan 8, 2017 03:35 PM)Stealth™ Wrote: OP, are you looking for a mechanical keyboard? I believe so. I'm about to buy a Switch Tester to see what switch fits me best. * - Lithe - Jan 8, 2017 I love the feel of Razer keyboards, keystrokes are incredibly satisfying and Chroma enabled keyboards can be customized to suit your preference (I use a light violet backlight that's easy on the eyes) If you can justify spending $200 on a keyboard, Razer is definitely a promising brand. * - Malicious Intent - Jan 8, 2017 ![]() try this man.. * - iNuke - Jan 8, 2017 (Jan 8, 2017 03:36 PM)Lithe Wrote: I love the feel of Razer keyboards, keystrokes are incredibly satisfying and Chroma enabled keyboards can be customized to suit your preference (I use a light violet backlight that's easy on the eyes) I do have a razer for gaming, I actually like it as well! Thing is It's huge lol, razer keyboards are not small/compact :( (Jan 8, 2017 03:39 PM)Malicious Intent Wrote: No way, lol * - Malicious Intent - Jan 8, 2017 (Jan 8, 2017 03:42 PM)iNuke Wrote: No way, lol Lol why not?!
