Should I drop out or stay in school for the fifth year - Capo™ - Jan 11, 2017 This is a question that has been passing over my mind lately a lot. If I were to drop out I would get my GED. I want to know what you guys think I should do... * - ZuGgY - Jan 11, 2017 Definitely stay and finish your education. If you honestly don't think you can do it, then just go for your GED. It's always up to you at the end. * - Eagerkid - Jan 11, 2017 (Jan 11, 2017 09:26 PM)iwontevercare Wrote: If you're retarded enough to even be asking this question... then I say drop out. Some times dropping out is the right answer. Many reasons people dont finish school. Tell us more about yourself OP, what would be your reason of not going back? * - .BangsOnly - Jan 11, 2017 (Jan 11, 2017 09:20 PM)Capo™ Wrote: This is a question that has been passing over my mind lately a lot. People dont NEED education to be succcesfull, yea alot didnt finish high school and made it good. I dropped out softmore highschool, Am 22 turning 23, still no GED. But forget my story, just stick with it for now and even if it may not be usefull or needed its better than NEEDING it and struggling to get it. Not saying YOULL need it, but its more of like a safe thinkiing that most people that the age of dropping out arent clear enough to see things this way. Thats what i think also what i was told when i dropped out. I remember everytime someone tried to convice me not to drop out and listened and said thank you. But in my head im thinking they have no idea who i am. Im different. And everyone is different but for my own experience i was wrong. * - HighTier - Jan 11, 2017 I would say stay for the fifth year but do what you want to do. High school isn't for everyone. * - Grand Pootis - Jan 11, 2017 If you drop out then find a way for the state to pay for online school. Even retarded people now have high school diploma and associate's degrees. Private GED is expensive as fuck and it's not like you'll be able to afford it. Christ, are you sure you didn't need that education? * - Capo™ - Jan 11, 2017 (Jan 11, 2017 09:34 PM)Grand Pootis Wrote: If you drop out then find a way for the state to pay for online school. To be honest I probably can afford it lol * - SuicideBoys. - Jan 11, 2017 Fifth year? Where do you live I'm pretty sure high school is only 4 years. * - Capo™ - Jan 11, 2017 (Jan 11, 2017 09:42 PM)SuicideBoys. Wrote: Fifth year? Then your min wage job gets automated, but you're already living paycheck to paycheck, and it would take 4 years just to get the bachelor's after that. I'm assuming you don't have mommy and daddy money. It's a lot harder to get back on the education train than it is to keep going. * - pnda - Jan 11, 2017 The people who get their GED are (most of the time) quitters. They say it's a high school diploma equivalent, but it's not in the real world. * - .BangsOnly - Jan 11, 2017 (Jan 11, 2017 09:34 PM)Grand Pootis Wrote: If you drop out then find a way for the state to pay for online school. No i do believe i lack alot of social skills because of my choice made. Also i dont wish i stayed longer than i did at least enough for me to be able to speak with the words that are meant and not come off sounding like a... lol - how i speak here but regardless. Im trying to say is this is a prime example of what i neglected when i decided to dropout * - Zoey - Jan 12, 2017 It may be worth your time staying on and getting more opportunities via education? * - Camf ∆ - Jan 12, 2017 Finishing your mandate education is the first test of, "Can you, and will you finish what you started" Me personally, I got kicked out when I was 17 between jobs so I had no income, no place, and no means of transportation. I registered with an alternative school that I walked 10 miles to for a week. I expedited my classes, still graduating with my diploma. I graduated with my diploma before all of my class, I got a job, and signed the lease on my first place the day I turned 18. Whatever reason you're wanting to quit, just bust it out man! your almost through. It's nothing compared to the real life struggles that fly at you 100 mph. * - Portugal - Jan 12, 2017 You should just finish high school. If there is no urgent reason as to why you need to drop out, then don't do it. |
